Yeah, it’s Tuesday and this is a little late. After recent events, blogging took a little back seat while I worked through my workload, but I’m back and ready to go. The past week has been full of travel and adventures – some welcomed, some not. It’s nice now that everyones on university holidays though and back for the break so I get to catch up with friends again for some more exploring. Now, I’m going to watch some more True Detective with my brother before I get an early nights sleep, continue reading for my highs and lows of the week.

Highs:
  • Went on a spontaneous trip to Queenstown during the weekend, and stayed with some friends in the nicest house (the view from my bedroom door featured in the second photo). We filled in the time with too many wines, mini golf and exploring.
  • On that note: always a highlight, the creme brûlée fudge from the Remarkable’s lolly shop is amazing.
  • Also went adventuring to Aramoana last week with Leah which was stunning (see last photo). There’s something about sunsets on a unusually warm day that just gets me.
  • George FM shout outs. Lol.
  • Powerful – Major Lazer, Ellie Goulding & Tarrus Riley and Some Minds – Flume & Andrew on repeat.
  • I bought the Karen Walker ‘Tweedia’ Jacket and I’ve already worn it to death. Also a huge fan of the pink Fifth the Label jumper above with my white jeans – making winter lighter.
  • Pretty Little Liars is back and better than everrr
  • I was cooked dinner tonight after adventures which has never been done for me before (outside of the fam)
Lows:
  • I’m sick and sound like a 14 year old boy whose voice is breaking.
  • My Granddad passed this week. It really sucks, but it’s reminded me how important it is to really get to know people before they’re gone. Everyone has their own amazing adventures, you only have to ask to be told.
  • Waiting for people to get back to you.
  • What the hell, it’s 1st July tomorrow!!??
