If you’re living in New Zealand you won’t be a stranger to Designer Wardrobe (and if you are, click here ASAP). Now that I’m living in Auckland it makes everything so much more accessible so I try to pop into the store often and try on some new pieces. Loaning some of my personal favourites like Zimmermann and Orseund Iris it makes it so easy to dress for events. I love shopping but sometimes you just need to give it back at the end of the day. Stolen Stores is a brand that I was so excited to go see in the flesh once it arrived in – even better, Sophie and I got to shoot these in their studio.

In other news, it’s finally starting to feel like spring around here. It only took until November (NOVEMBER!?) but it’s here and I’m ready for it all. The beach, trips away and a Christmas spent at home. After being home the other weekend I can’t wait to spend more time down south. It’s so beautiful, I kind of forget because I’ve lived away for so long. So with that, I booked flights down for three weeks over the new years period. If you’re lucky enough to be able to visit the South Island of New Zealand, do it.
Tonight I’m going to spend the evening with friends watching the fireworks in the warmth. I’ve always loved setting off fireworks. Usually my family would have a whole night of it when we used to live on the orchard. Since I moved away I miss the whole celebration of it. I think it’s the only holiday I have always celebrated, along with Christmas. Plus, it’s kind of welcoming in the whole holiday season you know?
