Baker boy hats have been all over the place but I’m going to let you in on a secret: I don’t suit hats. Like, at all. I wanted to give it a go though so I grabbed this one for super cheap here in Korea and I’m in love. It’s like vintage meets new-age and I’m such a fan of the stripes.
I’ve also discovered the secret to looking fancy with minimal effort: hot shoes. I got these Raye ‘La Brea’ Loafers from Revolve (they’re currently on sale, score!) the other day and they honestly haven’t left my feet. They make everything from this dress to my denim cut-offs look so much better than if I was to pair them with my sneakers. I wore them in my previous post here if you’d like to see more photos. Can’t wait to wear them around Tokyo next week.
I managed to snap these photos in the wind before the rain came. We’ve been having super tropical, stormy weather lately and it’s been killing my creativity. I don’t know how to get myself out of these creative blocks, but you can always tell when I’m in them. Sorry Instagram, it’s me not you. I’m looking forward to a change of scenery which will hopefully pull me out of it. I leave for Japan next Sunday and I need recommendations – do you guys have any ‘must visit’ places in Tokyo? I’ll be there for just over a week.
