This Heartbreaker denim number is my new favourite from By The Way via Revolve. I never felt like the “denim jacket” type of gal until I saw the embroidery on the back – it makes it a little bit cooler. I wore it on the flights from New Zealand to Korea and it was the perfect light layer. I live for pieces that look stylish but are comfy. If a jacket is uncomfortable I will probably forget about it in 5 minutes. Plus, you know how I feel about cheesy slogans from this post, but ‘heartbreaker’ is spot on.
This is my first post from South Korea and I’m already excited to shoot content here. If you didn’t know, I arrived here last week. I love the contrast of colours and landscapes here. There’s such a unique relationship between the city and the ridiculous nature that surrounds it; it’s kind of mesmerising. I don’t know what I expected to find when I came here, especially since it was so last minute, but it has quickly grown on me.
Wearing: By The Way Jacket via Revolve, Denim Skirt (similar here) and ASOS Bandana.
Back to the Heartbreaker denim jacket though – I think it would look perfect grungy or classy. Over this H.O.T Privacy Please Dress, this cute cherry dress or this black lace-up top. A great piece if you’re in need of a light layer.
I think this kind of light wash on a denim jacket makes it’s timeless, especially when you’re as indecisive about your style as I am. Take for example this skirt: I had purposely packed it away when I had planned on moving to London. Now, it’s here with me in Korea and it’s one of the pieces I grab for most. That’s probably why I’m such a clothes hoarder, there’s always that chance I’ll want to wear something again so yup, it stays in the draw. Sorry future kids, you’re going to inherit a lot of half me downs.. haha.
