I bet a few of you were wondering how I ended up in Sydney last week and so here’s the answer. Last Thursday I attended the Converse Winter ’16 preview in Sydney with a bunch of other people and needless to say, I had a great time. We started the day with an amazing lunch at Lotus (you need to try the eggplant if you’re ever there, ohhhhh myy) and moved on to La Porte Space where the media event was held. The space was decked out in Converse displays showing off the new collections, along with live music playing and Mitch Revs painting in the background. We enjoyed the 30 degree weather in our new Converse II – which are seriously twice as comfortable as the originals – learning about street style photography from Life Without Andy and wandering the streets of Sydney. The pastel coloured oil slick collection shoes are definitely a favourite of mine, they’re just soo pretty. Definitely not a bad way to introduce myself to Sydney for the first time and as you can tell on my Instagram, they kept me comfortable throughout. The only downside of this trip is my renewed lust for exploring unfamiliar cities while I’m stuck in Auckland – until next time Sydney!
