Happy Mother’s Day! I remember this time last year I was living in Sydney which is crazy to think about – time really does fly. I’ve been so busy this weekend that I feel like I need another. Anyway, I need to get on with my adult life (washing, cleaning etc.) so let’s get into it.
Highs:
- Catching up with friends which has basically been my whole weekend – that and making them help me. THANKS TEAM.
- Kelsey brought me brunch today which was very cute and yum. Who else forgot how good packet waffles can be? Me too.
- I’ve been loving using Instagram Stories to share what I get in the mail. I think it’s kind of cooler way to show you what I buy vs. what I get sent so when you see me using it you’ll know where it came from. Although, in typical blogger fashion “I promise I don’t promote products I don’t like” blah blah but it’s true.
- Speaking of – I’m obsessed with all the shoes I’ve got in the last week. I’ve gone from having two pairs with me to at least six. I love these ones from Senso, and these ones from Billini – I need an excuse to go out and wear them now.
- It’s the first week in my new house and it’s been such an easy move. I’ve loved being able to explore a different area of Auckland which I haven’t lived in before. Plus, my flatmates are so chill.
- Went to Tasca in Mt. Eden for dinner with the flatmates and it was so good. Such a pretty setting out the back and the tapas are yummmm.
- Lili Reinhart’s video on Elle getting ready for the Met Gala – she’s so down to earth and laid back.
- The Edmond’s packet mix baking though. You can’t tell me you don’t love them.
- I’ve pretty much been working non-stop this week between freelance and my full-time job which is fun but tiring. Always nice to get wine as a perk though!
- My flatmate’s dating history on Bumble – so many crazy stories, so I thought I’d give it a go. Lol. Watch this space.
