This weekend has flown by. I honestly can’t even remember the start of my week or what I’ve been up to at all. Because my memory has given up on me (plus, I’m pretty sure I’m getting sick again) I’m going to cut to the chase AKA the good stuff. I hope you’ve all had a great weekend!

Highs:

• I went out with some friends on Friday night and its sooo good to be around some of your type of people – it’s been too long. Plus: I definitely recommend gay friendly bars down K Road, I’ve never received so many compliments in such a short amount of time. Great for the ego, haha.
• I got a pair of the Converse One Star shoes and I’m obsessed with the vintage vibes. You guys know I’m a long time lover of Converse but it was nice to branch out from the usual hi tops.
• You know how you have those weeks when you eat everything in the house? This week that was me. Top of my must try list was the Magnum By Johnny ice cream – Hazelnut Salted Vanilla is the stuff of dreams.
• I watched Love Simon last night because I was half asleep and I picked the first thing I found. It’s definitely a feel good film and it was the perfect easy watch – I’d recommend if you’re looking for something light-hearted.
• IT’S STARTING TO FEEL LIKE SPRING.
• One of my favourite people announced she’s pregnant and I’m SO excited! Ugh, we’re all growing up so fast. I’m only slightly freaking out, promise.
• I’ve probably said it before but I’ll say it again – you need to follow Sarcasm Only on Instagram. So relatable.
• Do you ever have moments when you’re feeling a bit useless? Well that’s been me most of the week (blame the PMS). But, walking through the mall yesterday and seeing all the brands I’ve been able to work with over the years was kind of surreal. Just a good reminder that even if other people don’t recognise you’re achievements it doesn’t mean that you aren’t killing it.
• I think I mentioned this last week but I went to the new Cotton On Store in Manukau and I got this top. It’s so cheap and cute, I can’t wait to wear this more come summer.

Lows:

• I’ve been so tired and sneezing the whole day. Safe to say I’m probably getting sick. But also, how much do allergies suck?
• I may or may not have spent all of my money on clothing this week.
• No knowing where you stand with people. Like are we friends, or..?
