The Katherine sunglasses by Celine I have been coveting for-ever. I should start by saying that sunglasses have to be my one weakness. Instead of spending money on designer handbags I spend my life savings on these babies. Fun fact: It’s because my eyes are super sensitive so I can barely walk outside without them. Hence why I wear them in nearly all of my blog posts.
I first spotted the Katherine Celine sunglasses while travelling last year. I often waste my lay over time trying on pairs and these immediately caught my eye. If you don’t own any Celine glasses you should know that they’re super sturdy and fit to your face well, so they’re a great investment. I think the square shape makes them a lot more sophisticated than other pairs I own – these make you look like a #girlboss. These are the burgundy shade but there are a few other colours you can choose from. I think black can be harsh when you’re like me AKA pasty white skinned, so I chose a warmer colour.
As for my reformation blazer (my most loved piece of the moment if you’ve been on my Instagram) there’s an outfit coming in the near future featuring it properly. The only downside of it I can tell you so far is that it’s nearly impossible to iron out wrinkles in this type of linen and I accidentally left this to get scrunched up in my floordrobe the other day. You’d think I’d learn after working as a stylist for so long… ugh.
After watching Girl Boss on Netflix I swear I just want to work like crazy at what I love and screw the in between jobs. Have you guys seen it? If you didn’t know Nastygal wasn’t exactly the best company around, as in ripping off up-and-coming artists as well as a heap of lawsuits that has lead to the company filing for bankruptcy. But while it’s controversial I think there’s an important lesson to learn because at the end of the day, Sophia built a multi million dollar business from nothing.
