It’s about time – I’m back with another Look For Less post, and this time it’s the masterpiece Christopher Esber. If you don’t know who I’m talking about; Christopher Esber is an Australian designer established in 2010, but gained notoriety in 2019, known for his brilliant use of cut-outs within minimalistic silhouettes to revamp a genre that had become (in my opinion) simply boring. I mean, he was the first to design the now trending wrap-around skirt seen everywhere from the runway to Nastygal.
Since there are so many dupes for his most trending creations, I thought I’d share them for my next post in this series. If you’re unfamiliar, I have a whole series dedicated to finding dupes of your favourite designers. You can check out them all here, including brands like Realisation Par, With Jean and Reformation.

This shirt is the easiest thing to pair with a satin skirt or trousers. I actually own a dupe of this because I wasn’t sure whether I’d wear the real thing enough (which is half of the reason I buy dupes) and I can say, it’s worth the real thing if you’re up for it. You can tie it a lot of different ways too to switch up a look.

Again, I can’t fault this skirt. Although, it’s not for the faint of heart. If you’re blessed with the 90’s wash board abs – this style is made for you. If you’re like me and aren’t ready to show off the mid-drift, I’d style this over a tee.

Under oversized blazer, with tight skirts or trousers – you name it, it looks amazing. I particularly love this gathered V-cut top because it’s so flattering peaking through under a coat in winter. Just a little something extra when it’s freezing outside, you know?
Cropped Tie Tee – $490
My go-to when I have to put together an outfit is a puff cropped sleeve shirt like this one. Pair it with printed pants for an easy day look during winter, or with shorts and boots for summer. Another great staple to own.
Inbuilt Bra Shirt – $490
Lastly, the cropped “bra” shirt is one for “the brave of heart”. This is another top that you can easily style no matter the season. Something that you’ll realise quickly you never knew you needed but once you own it, you can’t live without.
