House of CB is everywhere at the moment. Known best for its luxury tailored fits, form-fitting dresses and beautiful detailing – this British womenswear label is a go-to for those looking for an elegant night out outfit. I have to pay a special mention to their corset pieces because they seem to fit everyone, no matter your size and bust. Seen on celebrities like Gigi Hadid, and the Kardashians, the brand has grown a cult following overnight and it’s hard to ignore now that it’s all over Instagram.
While I love House of CB, and am constantly signing up to be alerted to items being back in stock, the pricepoint can be off-putting. More specifically, the shipping price. When you’re going to spend $300 on a dress (that you haven’t already tried on), any extra shipping is enough to make me save to cart and exit out – let alone another $30. So, with that being said, I thought House of CB would be the perfect brand to find cheaper dupes for.
If you looking for other dupes for your favourite brands, such as Rat and Boa, Realisation Par, Zimmerman and Jacquemus, check out my Look For Less series. There, I find cheaper alternatives to all your favourite and top trending items. Also, if you’d like me to create a post on a brand I haven’t yet covered, drop it in the comments below and I’ll put it on my list.
Aaliyah Blouse – £99
The Cheaper Alternatives
While I lean towards more minimal fits, this top would be so perfect for a girls’ brunch or weekend away. It reminds me so much of the Rat & Boa Fiametta blouse, but more subtle, making it easy to style day to day. Try styling any of these blouses above with a colourful bra that matches the same colour palette.
Rafa Corset – £89
Try These Lookalikes
Corsets have to be my most purchased item of 2022. They go with absolutely everything, and as a bonus, you don’t need to wear a bra. I’d style this with a mini skirt for the nighttime and straight leg jeans or trousers if you’re out and about.
Tara Cropped Cardi – £79
Under $100 Alternatives
This top has been everywhere on Instagram lately, and while I love it, paying over $140 for a mesh barely there cardigan just doesn’t sit right with me. If you already own a cute bralette, you can easily recreate this look with the pieces above.
Baby Mine Dress – £149
Get The Look For Less
This dress I have been eyeing up for the past month, and am still waiting for it to restock. It truly is the perfect going out dress – it’s loose where you need it, shows off your bust and has a little bit of skin showing on the side for a bit of sauce. You could easily pair this with heels, or chunky boots, depending on the occasion.
Daria Cargo Pants – £99
Shop The Dupes
Cargo pants have made a comeback in recent years, and I’m here for it. They’re so comfortable and easy to style with a simple t-shirt and gold hoops. The key here is the get a pair in a neutral colour, and if you want to go fancier, try a satin finish. Just no camo, thanks.
