Serving up some old school beauty looks we need to bring back. Sometimes I am living at such a fast pace I forget to stop. Take a moment. And play around with something creative. The other day I pulled out a heap of makeup I had been given, but barely got a chance to use, to try out some new looks. How fun is it to just try new colours and then wash it all off!?
I created heaps of vintage-inspired looks, so I thought I’d share them all here. I started with a bronze eye and nude lip that I’m obsessed with. The bronze just looks amazing with blue eyes! Not to mention, a full pink eyeshadow/lip duo to that is so fun. Also, I can’t get enough of the old school rock and roll, smokey eye and red lip combo. There’s just something about vintage 1970’s and 1980’s that feels so right now.
I mostly used the Soft Glam Eyeshadow Palette by Anastasia Beverly Hills and Naked Reloaded Eyeshadow Palette, both from Mecca Cosmetica. Both come with a range of warm, peachy shades and there are even a couple of fun pinks thrown in there. I used my new Stolen Girlfriends Club x M.A.C lipstick in Lady Danger and my other older M.A.C Lipsticks in Velvet Teddy and Girl About Town. For my highlighter, I tried out the new Bondi Sands Glo Highlighter in Gold which is beautiful and natural on the skin but glows under a flash. My base is a combination of this foundation (AMAZING) and my O.G. foundation; Laura Mercier Silk Cream Foundation.
