I’ve always kind of given in to the typical colour palettes to match the season. You know, black/maroon/grey for winter and pastels for spring, that kind of thing. It’s not something I ever thought much about until I looked back at old photos. I guess it’s just a natural thing I’ve always done, but not anymore. I’m slowly starting to weed out the unnecessary items I’ve collected over the past few years that have made their way to me stupidly because of a trend or, like with the colour for season, some ridiculous idea. I don’t know if I’m the only one, but it’s pretty easy to get caught up in the idea of how you should look and $500 later, your new polka dotted grey and pink coat is on it’s way. Anyway, this ramble is just me documenting my conscious decision to stop buying things because of trends/seasons that I like for about 5 minutes, only to end up in a pile to sell by the time summer rolls around. Also, I’m pretty sure white and pastels go with any season, just look at this moodboard!?
