If you follow me over on Instagram you’ll know I’m a massive fan of iS Clinical products. Scratch that. If you’ve read anything on my blog you should know that too. I’ll put it out there and say that I have been gifted more skincare than anyone could ever try, and this is a range I would throw most of it out in exchange for. Why? Because it’s that good.

I think I can honestly say there’s no other skincare brand that I would trust across the board. For one, serums are a product that I had convinced myself wasn’t worth the money. Every single one I had tried (apart from Drunk Elephant) had never changed a damn thing about my face. An expensive way of making a fool of my “part-time-beauty-blogger” self. Secondly, it’s medical-grade skincare. There’s been a shit load of research done while formulating these to ensure every ingredient included works in beautiful unison with each other. If you don’t believe me, you can read all about it here from someone that knows.

It wasn’t until the amazing Sam from Blushington Beauty Lounge put me on to this brand that I realised why every overseas celebrity swoons at the mention of iS Clinical. I can promise you I will continue buying this for the unseeable future. No lie, it’s worth every cent. Especially one serum in particular, but that I’ll talk more about later. For now, just know that if I’m going to sit here and spend hours shooting and writing about it – it must be good.

Before I get into the post, if you do want to buy iS Clinical in New Zealand, get in touch with Blushington Beauty Lounge. They’re incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to creating a routine that works. You can also stock up on their *new* website here.

My 6 New Favourite iS Clinical Products
iS CLINICAL The Essentials Experience Kit

I’ll start by saying that this is THE kit you need if you want to try the best (and most of my favourite) beauty products by iS Clinical. It includes the Active Serum, Hydra-Cool Serum, Pro-Heal Serum and the Cleansing Complex face wash. They’re all minis so perfect for travelling, and a great way to introduce yourself with the brand. Three out of four of these are included in my favourite so let’s continue.

1. iS CLINICAL Super Serum Advance+

I think of this serum as my go-to anti-aging product without the inflated title. It is “Formulated with time-released L-ascorbic acid (vitamin C), performance maximising copper tripeptide growth factor, and hydrating hyaluronic acid.” Basically, it’s brilliant for clearing up scarring from acne and any other uneven pigmentation, as Vitamin C products do. Plus, with HA is leaves your skin fresh and plump. It also protects your skin from sun damage and general day-to-day nasties that you’ll see in 15-20 years. The ultimate best friend in the war against ageing, this is a product anyone in their late twenties needs – stat!

2. Warming Honey Cleanser

This cleanser is everything I need from one (except mascara removal because which one ever does that right?). After using iS Clinical for a while now, I know that I can get away with a gentle cleanser. This is IT. The iS Clinical cleansing complex is still my daily go-to, but this is my creamy second, and you can leave it on longer as a mask to get the full effects. AKA hydration. It feels like a day spa in a bottle. I love this because my skin is consistently dry, so finding a cleanser that doesn’t strip my skin of moisture is essential. I’m a fool for honey products so it was already a winner when it arrived in the mail but I can now say, I wholeheartedly love it.

3. iS Clinical Poly-Vitamin Serum

Another serum that contains Hyaluronic Acid for intense hydration. This serum contains Vitamin B3 and B5, along with other essential ingredients, that promotes healthy-looking skin. Sam recommended I use this product to combat my stupidly dry face, so I now religiously use this at night along with Hydra-Cool Serum over the top. I love the way it makes my skin look when I wake – fresh and glowing.

4. iS Clinical Active Serum

I’ll state here that when it comes to exfoliation, I’m a glycolic acid nut. It’s an ingredient I look for in chemical exfoliants because it works so well with my skin type. If you aren’t the same, or are sensitive to it, I would give this one a miss. If you’re anything like me though or loved the Drunk Elephant Glycolic Night Serum, you’ll enjoy this. Unlike the Drunk Elephant competitor, it’s a very light weight (READ: watery) serum so it doesn’t feel intense on my skin and I never worry that it will cause a reaction. It also includes lactic acid, hyaluronic acid and an array of vitamins, to ensure your skin is left fresh and hydrated. They’ve stated that skin damage caused my radiation or chemo therapies can also benefit from using this. That’s a claim I’ll leave you to test. For me, it’s simply a great product.

5. iS Clinical C Eye Serum Advance+

As you can tell by how much I’ve used, a little goes a long way. I’ve been using this for months now too. The C Eye Advance+ contains vitamin C to brighten under-eye circles and reduce puffiness. These aren’t the only pros though – the list of effects this product offers is endless. If you already like using vitamin C on your skin, this is a product specifically designed to give the same effects to your eye area. This is one product I miss this when I forget to use it.

6. iS Clinical Youth Eye Complex

This eye cream is like no other. It smells lovely and glides on smoothly almost like a gel. It reminds me of the reparative moisture emulsion which I am obsessed with and is a step I never miss from my routine – both morning and night. So moisturising too! An all-round great eye cream.

And A Special Mention To The Holy-Grail Active Serum

That’s it for all my new favourites. As you can probably tell iS Clinical products dominate my daily routine and that’s not changing anytime soon. I have to do a special shout out to my forever ride-or-die serum, the Active Serum. That’s one product that I can’t believe delivers the results it does. Smooth, clear skin in literally days! I recommend this product to absolutely everyone and have gone so far as to buy it for my Mum (who never uses skincare) for Christmas. It’s an absolute essential in keeping my face break-out free.
