Last week I took full advantage of our first day of hot weather by lying all day in the sun. I swear the last time I saw sunshine was over a month ago in Croatia, so you can imagine my excitement. I was also pretty happy to come back and find these sandals waiting for me at home. Black Friday hit while in Amsterdam and I had completely forgot what I’d bought – practically an early Christmas, wahoo! Rope-like shoes had been a big thing in Europe a few months ago and I’d been crushing ever since. I needed to pick up some new shoes anyway since I ditched 3 pairs while travelling and these seemed like a good replacement. They’re super soft suede, soo comfortable and really are the perfect summer sandals. I can’t wait to wear them more this season when summer decides to show up for good. Now I’m off to cook some dinner and try figure out what I’ll be doing here for the next three months. Ciao!
