If you’re in my corner of the world, Hi and welcome to March AKA Autumn. Yes, shock horror. We are officially making our way into the cooler months and where the hell has the year gone!?
I’ve successfully avoided winter for the past three years (thank you international travel) and so believe me when I say I’m not prepared. It’s also because of this that I’ve been hunting for the perfect pieces to buy in the overseas sales for the past 72 hours straight. Shirts, trousers and oversize anything, hello. Don’t worry, there is one stand out piece that is here to stay and keep you company for the rest of the year:
Whether it’s a vintage inspired linen blazer, a red-hot blazer or the classic black, this is your fail safe option this fall. It literally will see you through any situation and it totally worth the investment. Crop top and shorts for the transitional days. Layered with a chunky turtleneck and trousers for brisk winter days. Over a silk slip dress with heels for a night out. It’s a total win-win situation.
This Witchery blazer is the third one to come home with me and it’s my best yet. I love this structured black blazer paired with an unconventional crop top combination. It’s a very millennial look and I’m totally into it. Swap out the shirred skirt for a pair of vintage denim jeans and there’s your autumn appropriate look. See how easy it is? I think it beats the leather jacket because it’s so much more versatile in terms of aesthetic. I’ve included a few of my favourite affordable black blazers below for you to shop.
Wearing: Witchery Blazer (similar here), Marle Lomas Skirt, Weekday Top, Urban Outfitters Boots & ASOS Sunglasses.
