I love fashion trends as much as the next gal. With spring already here I thought it would be a great time to share 5 of this seasons favourites. Let me tell you, I’m excited about trying them all!
The best part about these spring fashion trends is that you can get the look pretty darn cheap. I’ve even selected pieces you can shop below each to make it so much easier. I don’t know about you, but I’m excited to have some cooler weather after I experienced a long Northern Hemisphere summer. While summer is great, I think spring and autumn fashion is the best time to experiment and I’m long overdue. I’m hauled up in bed with a pretty bad cold, so you know what I’ll be doing for the rest of the day: online shopping.
TOP 5 SPRING FASHION TRENDS
1. White Boots
White boots have been a staple street style piece over the past couple of months and I know they’ll be around a lot longer. Perfect for spring with a light floral dress (because spring, duh). I really love the idea of moving away from black boots for once as they can look so harsh with lighter prints. White boots also look awesome paired with ripped jeans, don’t you think?
2. Power Suit
I’m so in love with that all yellow suit – that’s my fashion goal right there. Not only do women look killer in a monotone suit, but they’re so easy to chuck on and run out the door. Win-win. Definitely keep it nude or naked underneath with some layered gold chains or a belt for an extra kick in the fashion department.
3. Side Stripe Pant
This fashion trend isn’t necessarily new, but it’s a great update. The new colours with or without the snap pant is a great way to try giving sports luxe a shot, without losing your sophistication. Worn with heels is my favourite way of styling them, especially like the top right corner: those girls have it sussed.
4. Parisian Berets
It’s doesn’t get much more sophisticated than wearing a beret in Paris. Following on from the baker boy hat trend, the beret has been popping up everywhere on social media. It’s cool to see people dressing them less feminine and instead paired with a blazer or a band tee.
5. Belt Bag
Slowly catching on around the world, I think this is THE trend to try this spring – especially come festival season. I saw so many people rock the belt bag while I was in Korea, either as a belt or cross body. While I love the Gucci one, I think a plain black bum bag is just as cool. They can also be super cheap!
Well that pretty much sums up the current spring fashion trends I’ve been coveting. I go through stages with fashion trends where I don’t any at all (hello, kitten heels), so these have got me so excited for the new season.
