Charlotte Tilbury has finally landed in New Zealand exclusively at Mecca, and I couldn’t have been more ready for this launch. After months of watching TikToks raving about the Hollywood Contour Light Wand, I was ready to drop some series cash. I’ve previously reviewed Charlotte Tilbury on my blog, but that was years ago, and there have been so many new launches since. So (obviously), I am back with another Charlotte Tilbury review with all new products.
When it comes to beauty brands, I’m not loyal. I tend to shop around, read a million reviews and rarely commit to buying a product before I’ve tried it. I’m picky, as I should be. There’s nothing worse than dropping $100 on a product only to find out that it doesn’t work on your skin. That was until now (spoiler alert) – I think Charlotte Tilbury might be worth the hype, the money and be great right across the board.

Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lipstick & Lip Cheat Liner
Pillow Talk, where do I start? Possibly the most hyped-up product by Charlotte Tilbury and I’m here to report that it’s warranted. The lipstick and matching liner is moisturising for a matte finish and glides on so smoothly. I have both the original Lip Cheat in Pillow Talk, and the Pillow Talk Intense 3, a beautiful dark brown that gives me serious 90’s vibes. I love the original Pillow Talk on my skin tone – it’s a great everyday shade that compliments natural make-up so well.
Charlotte Tilbury Charlotte’s Magic Cream
Charlotte’s Magic Cream is a product that I’ve wanted to get my hands on for years. I used to watch her Youtube tutorials religiously, and this product has been stuck on my mind ever since. It’s a luxurious and luminous cream that sets every make-up application up for success. I’ve used it here as a base before foundation, and it gives a beautiful glowy result.
Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter & Airbrush Flawless Foundation
I’ve tried Charlotte Tilbury foundations in the past, and I forgot how much I loved them. I used the Airbrush Flawless Foundation in 3 to create this look, and it’s easily my new favourite by her. It’s lightweight on the skin but gives a full coverage appearance that’s buildable. It’s easy to apply other products over the top without messing up your application, and it’s great on dry skin. I have yet to try the Hollywood Flawless Filter Foundation since I have shade 4 (which is too dark for my pale winter skin) but I’ll be pulling this out as soon as summer arrives.
Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Luxury Palette
The Pillow Talk Luxury Palette is made up of pink-toned shades that match perfectly with the lipstick. What I love about this is actually the shimmer shade because it’s so pigmented and easy to apply to your eyes – a rare find in the beauty world. The colours are made to work together so it’s a fail-safe option for those in a hurry. I’m not going to lie – I felt very pretty after applying these.
Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Push Up Lashes
I have to admit, I hate trying new mascaras. Quite often I put them on thinking they look great, and by the end of the day, they’re all down my face. I really love this mascara though, fortunately. Firstly, the wand makes it easy to apply a little in the morning, or layer mascara for a heavier nighttime look. Secondly, it’s SO black. It passed the slip and slide test, and I didn’t look like black swan after a day of shooting in the heat.
Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Push Up Lashes
The MOST talked about product on TikTok, and I can understand why. I am pretty scared of liquid products because admittedly, I am the worst at blending them. I either look like a clown, or it’s all over my face – there’s no in-between. For a product that’s so pigmented, this is really easy to blend, even if you’re a rookie like me. It gives a beautiful “Hollywood” bronze to the cheeks and the applicator is super easy to use. I did blend it out with a brush (because I don’t trust myself) but I’ve seen people use their hands or a beauty blender easily enough. One of those products that would be perfect to add to your bag for a natural glow during summer.
Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder
I’m one of those people that doesn’t ever really apply powder, so I used this sparingly. I have both shades 1 and 2 in the Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder, and I applied the lighter shade to set my concealer and the darker on my forehead. I do love that this is in a compact which makes it easy to take with you throughout the day, and it’s such a fine powder that doesn’t make your foundation cakey. I’ll be pulling these both out once the weather heats up, but for now, I’ll keep shade 1 on hand for setting my under eyes.
As you can see, I really can’t fault anything about these products by Charlotte Tilbury. I genuinely think her experience in the beauty industry has made her the perfect person to create flawless beauty products. The only thing I would say is that these are catered to people who want glowing, natural-looking skin and doesn’t go outside the “box” for those who are more creative with their looks. I love it though, and I’m yet to find a product I wouldn’t recommend to a friend.
